A concert of horns and bells regulates the circulation. It’s order in disorder. The population is very diverse. Different ethnicities and castes live there. Mixed cultures, beliefs. It vibrates. The footprints of Newar culture are there.

Thamel, the tourist district is a labyrinth of streets. We see the many sellers but also carriers with incredible loads and old cars. A city of charm but especially authentic.
