You want to discover another Nepal. You want to meet a people, their culture and their history. Nepal is a country of great cultural richness, with influences from China, Tibet and India. It’s a country of many ethnic groups. The Nepalese people are steeped in religion. It’s part of their daily lives.
All of which means that there are some remarkable sites, such as Namo Buddha and the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. You need to take the time to understand Nepalese culture and customs. Nepal’s diverse influences have also given rise to a whole range of architectural arts, from temples to dwellings.
Immersion in Nepalese Culture : hiking and discovering sacred sites
Nepal is a complex country. And yet such a simple people who are keen to share their humanity and their social and religious customs.
The aim of this Nepal tour is to introduce you to the important cultural sites of the Kathmandu Valley. But that’s not all. That would be too limited. This discovery allows you to soak up the spiritual force emanating from the various Buddhist temples, stupas, Hindu temples… It’s a journey that touches the heart of Nepalese life.
On the other hand, this trip and this approach will show you another Nepal than the one you see on the trek. Its cultural richness is incredible. We could talk to the Sadhus for hours. For some, this trip is transforming them.
Beyond a cultural tour of Nepal, you’ll of course have views of the Himalayas. Maybe the mountains will beckon. You’ll hike through the jungle while searching for endemic birds, as on Pulchoki Hill.
