This trek in Upper Dolpo leads through several mountain ranges and passes to Numala Pass at 5,400 meters to the village of Ringmo. We will go together to Lake Phoksundo with its turquoise color which is in the heart of Phoksundo National Park.
You will be able to admire the beauties of this region with the surrounding snowy peaks of Kanjibro Himal.
Itinerary :
- Day 1 : Transfer from the airport to the hotel 4 stars – Welcome dinner
- Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing during 5 heures. Prepare the next day
- Day 3 : Departure from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj by plane
- Day 4 : From Nepalgunj, hike to Kalaguada (2 100m). We will walk during 2 hours then we will fly to Juphal
- Day 5 : Trek from Kalagauda to Chhepka (3 678m) – 6 to 7 hours
- Day 6 : From Chhepka to Polan (3 397m) – 5 to 6 hours
- Day 7 : Trek from Polan to Phoksunda Tal (3 600m) – 5 hours
- Day 8 : We will stay in Shey-Phoksunda during the day and hike to discover Phuksonda Lake and the surrounding environment.
- Day 9 : Shey – Phoksunda trek to Phoksundo Camp (Salla Ghari) 3 630m – 5 hours leisurely trek along Phaksundo Lake
- Day 10 : From Camp Phoksundo (Salla Ghari) to Camp Side (4 500m) – 6 hours
- Day 11 : Side Camp Trek to Nagdalo Pass (5,350m) to Shey Gompa (4 343m) – 8 to 9 hours – start early in the morning
- Day 12 : From Shey Gompa to Sela Gela Pass (5 094m) to Namgung (4 360m) – Between 7 and 8 hours
- Day 13 : Trek from Namgung to Saldang (3 770m) – 6 hours
- Day 14 : Trek from Saldang to Changaon (3 840m) – 7 hours
- Day 15 : Trek from Changaon to Pass Camp (4 700m) – 8 hours
- Day 16 : Trek from Pass Camp to Jyanta-la pass (5 220m) then to Odar (4 797m) – 9 hours
- Day 17 : Trek from Odar to DHO Tarap (3 944m) – 5 hours
- Day 18 : Trek from DHO Tara to Kharka (4 500m) – 7 hours
- Day 19 : Trek from Kharka to Mola Pass (5 027m) then to Chharka vote (4 300m) – Between 8 and 9 hours
- Day 20 : Trek from Chharka vote to Nulungsumde kharka (4 985m) – 8 hours
- Day 21 : Trek from Nulungsumde kharka to Niwas-la pass (5,120m) then Jungben-la pass (5,550m) to Camp site (5,140m) – 10 hours with early morning departure
- Day 22 : Trek from Camp Site to Santa (3 777m) – 8 hours
- Day 23 : Trek from Santa to Kagbeni (2 810m) – 7 hours
- Day 24 : Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom (2 720m) – 2 hours – Visit Marpha village and apple gardens
- Day 25 : Jomsom plane to Pokhara (25 minutes) – Pokhara city tour with a city guide
- Day 26 : From Pokhara, return to Kathmandu
- Day 27 : farewell dinner and tranfer from the hotel to the airport
