Mera Peak is a peak in the Everest region of the Hinku Valley. It rises to 6,476 m. The ascent of Mera peak is not technically difficult but will remain accessible to people in good shape. The expedition will be done in order to manage the altitude and allow you to acclimatize.

The way through the Hinku Valley passes through the blue pine and rhododendron forests and the Sherpas villages. Since the sum of Mera peak, breathtaking panoramic views will be offered to you. It is a remarkable place to see 5 of the 6 highest peaks in the world: Everest (8 848 m), Lhotse (8 516 m), Makalu (8 485 m), Kangchenjunga (8 586 m) and Cho Oyu (8 201 m). An amazing view !

Itinerary of the Mera Peak :

• Day 1 : Arrival – Transfer from airport to hotel and welcome dinner
• Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing tour – Check up about the equipment (rental if necessary)
• Day 3 : Start from Kathmandu to Lukla (2 810 m) in plane 25 minutes – Then trek to Paiya (2 730 m) – 2 hours
• Day 4 : From Paiya to panggom (2 846 m) – 4 hours
• Day 5 : Trek from Panggom to Ningsow (2 863 m) – 5 hours
• Day 6 : Trek from Ningsow to Chhatra Khola (2 800 m) – 5 hours
• Day 7 : Trek from Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3 691 m) – 6 hours
• Day 8 : Trek from Kothe to Thaknak (4 358 m) – 4 hours
• Day 9 : Trek from Thaknak to Khare (5 045 m) – 6 hours
• Day 10 : Acclimatation day and climb training
• Day 11 : Climbing day from Khare to Mera high camp (5 780 m)- 6 hours
• Day 12 : Climbing day from Mera high camp to the summit (6 476 m) and go back to Khare – 7 hours
• Day 13 : Trek from Khare to Kothe (3 600 m) – 5 hours
• Day 14 : Trek from Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4 300 m) – 5 hours
• Day 15 : Trek from Thuli kharka to Lukla via Zatrwa la pass – 7 hours
• Day 16 : Go back to Lukla – Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel
• Day 17 :  Departure day – Transfer at the airport
