Mardi Himal – 7 days trek – Journey of 13 days
On the south face of the Annapurnas, the Mardi Himal base camp is not very busy. Trekking in the middle mountains through terraced crops, forests of rhododendrons, to arrive in the high mountains at Mardi Himal base camp (4,450 m). The breathtaking peaks and glaciers of the southern faces of the Annapurnas will be under your amazement. This trek allows a diversity: rice fields, villages and high peaks.
For your stay in Nepal, visits to the city of Kathmandu and Pokhara are organized to make you a tour of Nepal between cultures, ethnicities and Annapurnas.
Itinerary :
- Day 1 : Transfer from the airport to the hotel with a welcome dinner
- Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing by car with city guide (3 persons maximum by car)
- Day 3 : Start from Kathmandu to Pokhara – 7 hours by bus
- Day 4 : Pokhara sightseeing , Phewa lake, caves, temples,… during all the day
- Day 5 : 1 hour by road to Kande. Then, trek to Pitam Deurali – 3 heures
- Day 6 : Pitam Deurali to Forest Camp (2 550 m) – 5 hours
- Day 7 : Forest Camp to Low Camp (2 990 m) – 3 hours
- Day 8 : Low Camp to High Camp (3 580 m) – 3 hours
- Day 9 : Kike to Mardi Himal base camp (4 500 m) go back to High Camp (3 580 m) – 7 hours
- Day 10 : High Camp to Sidhing (1 850 m) – 6 hours
- Day 11 : Siding to Lumre during 3 hours and go back to Pokhara – 3 hours
- Day 12 : Go back to Kathmandu
- Day 13 : farewell and transfert to airport
